Does Versoo Content Ops work on WordPress 6.x?
No. The plugin uses the WordPress Abilities API introduced in WordPress 7.0, which provides a standardized interface for connecting AI providers. There is no fallback for earlier versions — the plugin deactivates gracefully and shows an error notice if the AI API is unavailable.
What AI model does it use?
Whatever AI provider and model you have configured in u003cstrongu003eSettings → Connectorsu003c/strongu003e. Versoo Content Ops does not set up or manage AI credentials — it calls the WordPress AI client and lets WordPress route the request to the active provider. The plugin works with any provider that WordPress supports.
How do I set up an AI provider?
Versoo Content Ops uses whatever AI provider is configured in your WordPress installation at u003cstrongu003eSettings → Connectorsu003c/strongu003e. How you get there depends on your host:u003cbru003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eManaged hosts that support WP 7.0u003c/strongu003e (such as WordPress.com) may have an AI provider already active. Check u003cstrongu003eSettings → Connectorsu003c/strongu003e to confirm — if it shows a connected provider, you’re ready.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eu003cstrongu003eSelf-hosted WordPressu003c/strongu003e — go to u003cstrongu003eSettings → Connectorsu003c/strongu003e, add your provider credentials (an API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or another supported provider), and save.u003cbru003eAI usage is billed directly by your provider — Versoo Content Ops does not charge for generations.
Do drafts publish automatically?
No. Every generated draft is saved with the status u003ccodeu003edraftu003c/codeu003e. Nothing goes live without you opening the post in the block editor and publishing it yourself.
Can I generate page drafts, not just posts?
Yes. Set the u003cstrongu003eFormatu003c/strongu003e dropdown to u003cstrongu003ePageu003c/strongu003e before generating. When using the REST API, pass u003ccodeu003eu0022formatu0022: u0022pageu0022u003c/codeu003e. Page drafts do not get auto-tagged.
Does the plugin add categories?
No. It assigns up to four tags to post drafts (existing tags are matched; new ones are created). It does not touch categories. Assign categories manually before publishing.
What do the token counts in the response mean?
The u003ccodeu003einput_tokensu003c/codeu003e and u003ccodeu003eoutput_tokensu003c/codeu003e fields are estimates based on character count (roughly 4 characters per token). They are not exact billing figures — use your AI provider’s dashboard for accurate usage tracking. The numbers are useful for comparing generation cost across content types and lengths.
Can I use Brand Context without the Analyze button?
Yes. All five fields on the Brand Context page are free-text inputs you can fill in manually. The Analyze button is a convenience — it reads your writing sample and suggests values, but you can ignore it entirely and write your own descriptions. Manual entries often produce better results because you can be more precise about your actual positioning.
Can I delete AI-generated drafts in bulk?
Yes. Every draft generated by the plugin has a u003ccodeu003e_content_opsu003c/codeu003e post meta key set to u003ccodeu003e1u003c/codeu003e. You can filter or query by this key. Bulk-delete via the standard WordPress Posts list (filter by Draft status, select all, trash) or via WP-CLI: u003ccodeu003ewp post delete $(wp post list u002du002dmeta_key=_content_ops u002du002dmeta_value=1 u002du002dformat=ids)u003c/codeu003e.
