SEO Checklist & Title Variety

Every draft Versoo Content Ops generates is checked against 13 on-page SEO rules automatically — no extra SEO plugin required. Generated titles also rotate across a curated set of power words, headline formulas, and strong verbs, so your site doesn’t end up with the same handful of headline patterns repeated across every post.

The 13 SEO checks

Checks run against the draft’s title, body content, excerpt, and permalink, using the focus keyword you set for the piece.

Title

  • Focus keyword in title — the keyword phrase appears in the title.
  • Focus keyword near title start — it appears in the first half of the title, not buried at the end.
  • Title has a number — numbers in titles read as concrete, not vague.
  • Title has a power word — at least one word from a curated list known to strengthen headlines.

Content

  • Focus keyword in content — the phrase appears somewhere in the body.
  • Focus keyword near the start of content — it appears within the first 10% of the body.
  • Focus keyword in a subheading — it appears in at least one H2 or H3.
  • Focus keyword density in range — between 0.5% and 2.5% of the body’s word count. Not stuffed, not sparse.
  • Content length at least 600 words — short enough drafts get flagged rather than published thin.
  • All paragraphs under 120 words — catches wall-of-text paragraphs that hurt readability.

Excerpt & permalink

  • Focus keyword in excerpt — the phrase appears in the post excerpt.
  • Focus keyword in permalink — the phrase appears in the URL slug.
  • Permalink under 75 characters — long slugs get truncated in search results.

Results show which checks passed and which didn’t, with a plain-language reason for each failure — so you know exactly what to fix before you publish.

Title variety

Generated headlines pull from three rotating elements: a power word, a headline formula matched to the content type you picked, and a strong verb. Versoo Content Ops looks at your last twenty published posts before choosing, and avoids repeating anything already used — so drafts stop drifting toward the same pattern (the same power word, the same “N Ways to ___” formula) post after post.

This runs automatically every time you generate a draft. There’s nothing to configure — the history-aware rotation is what keeps titles varied without any manual tracking on your end.
